Fixing up an Old Fashioned Photograph

I Created a Photoshop speed art showing how I created this demo to save the time of me Copying and pasting pictures and writing a little bit about it:

Also to add the colour I:

Duplicated the background layer and set it as an RGB Image instead of a grey scale, Select a region that I want to colour

Then I clicked on the Colour balance, and messed with the colours a bit

Then That's How I got the final image.
